Welcome to Oyama Traditional School!
Oyama Traditional School is a strong and dynamic rural elementary school in the beautiful Okanagan community of Oyama - the village between two lakes. There has been a school in Oyama since 1908, ranging from a one room schoolhouse for students of all ages to today's vibrant K-7 elementary school.

We use the initials of our school to remind us of our values:

O = Outstanding Citizenship
T = Taking Responsibility
S = Showing Respect

        We encourage all of our parents and guardians to sign up for our email list by following the link below as this provides us with a quick and easy way
        to send messages home.    Join the Oyama Traditional Email List

By all means arrange to visit and check us out.  Research backs experience:  students thrive in structured traditional school environments with high expectations for both achievement and behaviour and traditional schools are exciting places to be!
