Welcome to Oyama Traditional School! Oyama Traditional School is a strong and dynamic rural elementary school in the beautiful Okanagan community of Oyama - the village between two lakes. There has been a school in Oyama since 1908, ranging from a one room schoolhouse for students of all ages to today's vibrant K-7 elementary school. Input to school calendar for 2012-2013 School District 23 is asking for your input regarding the creation of a two week spring break for 2013. School Calendar Input

Registration 2012-2013 school year Initial registrations for the 2012-2013 school year will be accepted from Wednesday, February 1st through Friday, March 9th. A valid birth certificate (showing the child's date of birth as on or before Dec. 31, 2007) along with a copy of one parent/guardian's driver's licence and BC Care card must be attached to the registration form. The school office will photocopy original identification documents to attach to the registration form.
